We’ve had many enquiries from gamers wanting to source a copy of Crossfire and/or Hit The Dirt. Both these publications are now out of print, but limited numbers are still available from various retailers, along with many of Arty Conliffe’s other rules. The following is a list of where all of these are or may be available and the approximate availability (quantities) as at the date of the last update.
This list was updated on 24 June 2011.

Is there any plan to re-print the original cross fire rules?
Hi Perry – there is – however that is a final back-up. Basically the current plan is:
1. Dennis at OMM has plenty of stock of the rulebook & HTD supplement – so there is no shortage right now although you do have to order directly from him,
2. An updated version of Crossfire has been started and is hoped to resume development in 2012 – all going well it may get published by the end of 2012. Note: this is more a version 1.1 than a version 2.0 – it will mostly be the existing rulebook with errata, corrections, clarifications incorporated, and possibly some additional advanced rules, possibly redesigned into a different format,
3. Some contingency work on options for doing a future facsimile reprint of the original edition – in the unlikely event that the supply in (1) gets exhausted and the new edition (2) is further delayed and/or not nearing publishing for whatever reason then a straight reprint will be considered (again likely end of 2012 or early 2013).
But right now there is plenty of stock with Dennis – and we don’t envisage that being exhausted for some time…
Cheers,
John

Gents, FWIW, Crossfire has been reprinted. I don’t know all the details, but I’m very glad it has.

I heartily recommend the Hit the Dirt supplement as well. I’m not sure what the status of Hit the Dirt is or if it is still available (the Caliver site seems to indicate it has one copy).
